In the CTRL movie, we follow the story of Nella (Ananya Panday) and Joe (Vihaan Samat), a young couple whose relationship takes off when they become internet sensations. The couple’s lives are captured on camera as they share personal moments, becoming influencers with millions of followers. However, their relationship becomes increasingly transactional, driven by fame and money.
Things spiral when Nella accidentally livestreams Joe’s betrayal, shattering their picture-perfect romance. Devastated, she turns to the CTRL app, an AI assistant that promises to erase Joe’s digital footprint forever. The app, however, needs complete administrative control over her computer, which leads to unexpected consequences as Nella’s life plunges into chaos.
